Retake is a creative AI feature in LTX that gives greater directorial control over how a shot unfolds. It allows rephrasing the ending dialogue while keeping the same voice, or reimagining the beginning or ending through new acting, camera motion, or story direction. Instead of fixing details, Retake lets directors reshape intent, pacing, and emotion within the same shot, bringing true creative control to AI filmmaking.
Retake lets you reimagine any moment without losing the scene that works, by iterating on existing video input. It’s built for creators, brands and directors to act on feedback immediately, fine-tune a gesture, reframe a shot, or redirect tone, all while keeping motion, sound, and continuity perfectly intact. It allows creators to rework the moment and keep the story .
This feature targets mainly creative professionals, by highlighting the first of many directable features on the roadmap for LTX-2. It also unlocks creativity in any other LTX-2 user segment.

How it works (high-level): Shot Fix regenerates a selected time range within a video (from roughly time X to time Y) while keeping the rest of the shot consistent. The replaced segment is fully regenerated from noise, but the model strongly attends to the surrounding frames, ensuring the new content blends naturally with the original motion and look.
