On behalf of the D-Ai project (Decentralized-AI), I am introducing the first model in the ASTRA family of models—a deep investigation into the optimal conditions for achieving and succeeding in performance comparable to Midjourney v6, Adobe Firefly, and DALL-E 3, with the unique feature of being a decentralized model. This is the second AI text-to-image model developed by D-Ai for generating high-quality images with prompts enabled for a multilingual system capable of matching the performance of the best paid private models on the market. The ASTRA family of text-to-image models offer a mix of pioneering innovation in datasets, data selection, data representation standards, and image resolution. During the fine-tuning of this first ASTRA model, a major vision was set to achieve a quality level comparable to the best commercial text-to-image models on the market. D-Ai is an innovative startup, an ambitious project aimed at making knowledge public in relation to pioneering methodologies for the optimization of generative AI models. Our approach is outlined by a meticulous study of the human sciences; our first mission is to innovate human sciences, psychology, neuroscience, proposing pioneering theoretical writings and papers from which we dislodge logics and metrics for application in the field of generative AI as a research laboratory.

Our goal is to publish innovative technologies and make them accessible to everyone with as much transparency as possible before they are patented and made private. Our network ‘Luminari,’ stored on-chain on the Polygon network, allows anyone to work on our technologies, propose pioneering ideas in a decentralized manner, and create a community of developers capable of supporting the project in the name of the evolution of open-source technologies.

Our models are entirely open-source, decentralized, and available for public use non-profitably.

I strongly believe that knowledge and its derivatives, such as creativity achieved through these generative AI tools, should be free and accessible to everyone, providing the necessary tools to enhance human creativity and allow developers to create their own datasets and use our models and knowledge as a starting point for open-source projects.

Decentralized models are named such because all datasets used for training are made public and accessible on-chain.
