Model description

This is the official online demo of Bread: “Low-light Image Enhancement via Breaking Down the Darkness” by Xiaojie Guo and Qiming Hu (accepted by IJCV).

Intended use

You can freely use this demo to enhance your photos under unsatisfactory illumination and/or tricky camera noises.

Caveats and recommendations

Increase the “gamma” value for brighter outputs, and the “strength” value for smoother outputs. That is to say, when your photo seems too dark, please increase the “gamma” value; when too noisy, increase the “strength” value; when too bright, reduce the “gamma” value; when too smooth, reduce the “strength” value.
