Prepaid credit

How prepaid credit works

Starting July 16, 2025, all new accounts will be billed using prepaid credit.

To use Replicate, you must first purchase credit upfront. We’ll deduct your usage from your credit balance as you go.

Purchasing credit

To buy credit, you’ll need to add a payment method in the billing settings. Then click Add credit to choose how much credit to purchase. We’ll immediately charge your payment method and update your credit balance.

Purchased credit is valid for 1 year from the purchase date and is not refundable.

Auto reload

You can optionally choose to set up auto reload. If auto reload is enabled, when your credit balance falls below a certain threshold, we’ll automatically top up your credit balance to a preset amount. For example, if you set a $10 threshold and $50 reload balance, we’ll add $40 to your account when your balance drops to $10, bringing it back to $50.

The minimum threshold is $5 and the minimum reload balance is $15. You can edit or disable auto reload at any time in the billing settings.

If your current balance is below or equal to the threshold you set, your reload will immediately kick in once you click save.

What happens when you run out of credit

As soon as your balance hits zero, we will prevent any new work from starting and shut down any infrastructure we’re running for you. In rare cases, a prediction may run over your credit balance. In these instances, we’ll automatically charge your default payment method at the end of the month for the outstanding balance.
